Rachel Robertson is a San Francisco based artist who originally hails from the Midwest. Inspired by urban life and the natural world, she frequently works with paper, ink, pencil, acrylics, watercolors, thread yarn, and ephemera. Her studio is always full of tiny scraps of paper, random spools of thread, stacks of drawings, and balls of yarn. Her collages somehow emerge out of this chaos.

Lisa Golightly of Kiki and Polly creates mostly portrait art of children and families. The name “Kiki and Polly” is inspired by her daughter’s love of a bird named Kiki, and for her imaginary friend Polly. Lisa tries to keep the spirit of childhood, wonder, and imagination with her in her Portland, Oregon studio.

Jessica Gonacha Swift is a full-time artist living and working in Atlanta, Georgia. She is also the illustrative force behind the Art Wall site. She created the room vignette and frame drawings. Jessica has a fine art degree from Ithaca College in New York. Her favorite color is orange and she can eat grapes until she’s sick.

Jen Zahigian of Roadside Photographs is a fine art photographer who divides her time between the Bay Area and Southern California. Her love for photography began in childhood, with “in the field” and darkroom lessons from her grandfather, also a photographer. She enjoys working with color to take ordinary scenes just beyond our everyday view.
